Eleanor Crow is a painter, illustrator and book cover designer based in London.
As a designer for publishing, she has worked at Faber & Faber, Random House Vintage and the Folio Society, as well as freelance for Granta, Pushkin Press and Yale. She has collaborated with printmakers, illustrators, typographers, lettering artists, weavers, ceramicists and photographers, as well as creating her own screenprints, illustrations and lettering for covers (see individual projects for credits).
As an illustrator, her work is frequently about a sense of place. Her book Shopfronts of London was published by Spitalfields Life Books with Batsford Books in 2019.
She has taught at a number of universities and art schools in the UK and also in Prague, Czech Republic, in drawing, painting and design.
